The Leicester Longhorns American Football team is the University of Leicester's representative
in the British Universities American Football League (BUAFL).
Leicester has one of the longest standing university American Football teams, having entered
the league in 1985.
There are opportunities for anyone interested in getting into Gridiron within the team..

Longhorns buck a trend, beat OLD BOYS !
The Leicester Longhorns went against tradition on Saturday 22nd May 2010, when they beat the Old Boys team the Leicester Long-Gones by 30-22. Match report will be avialable soon.
The Leicester Long-Gones team is made up of graduates and ex-players from Leicester Longhorns, Lemmings and Lightning teams.

Longhorns GIVE IT A TRY Camp a success !

It was an introduction to American Football session at Stoughton Road Fields in Leicester.
Longhorns to face National Champions !
The proposed list of opponewnts has been released by BUAFL and next season's Leicester Longhorns get to pits their wits and skills against a broad breadth of teams including the current
National Champions Birmingham Lions.
Other proposed oponents for the 2010/11 season are :-

Nottingham Outlaws,
Worcester Royals,
Derby Braves,
Coventry University Jets,
Warwick Wolves
and UEA Pirates.
